Pip is personal injury protection. It's to cover oitnofnpocket costs until insurance kicks in. Doesnt m as tter if you're hurt or not if you're the victim at least in tx you get pip. 2500 last time for me.

Oh gotcha yeah we don't have that coverage here in California only bodily injury. Have you personally done a diminished value claim?

Yes once you get estimate and then adjuster crunches number based on what their manager says they move ahead. If you're trying to pursue totalling since you were hit use your insurance to mediate on your behalf to push for faster result. Since you were hit their insurance will have to cover rental which adds up quick. Use that in your evaluation of total out cost.

I was T-boned by a GMC truck last year in my 2003 S2000. They had to replace the inner quarter panel, the outer quarter panel, and the door. Total bill was $7K

Pip personal injury protection. It's to cover initial out of pocket, free money my policy pays 5000.
Already closed deal for totalling adding 45 days of rental per rate into figure along with doodads. Almost got paid enough to buy a new one.

I'm actually surprised that they didn't total that. It's such an unfortunate circumstance. Glad you're okay though
