anyone else think the infiniti auto shifter with the boot is lame/ugly as hell? why they couldn't make it look like the gtr shifter. now that looks good. damn new q60 shifter looks like a damn snake head

Vehicle sold to masses vs vehicle sold to a niche crowd. The one in the G37 is very generic. The GT-R one might appear too stubby with the boot? I'm more upset there aren't more aftermarket options tbh.

I actually don't mind the new Q60 shifter ha ha. Wouldn't mind seeing what it would have looked like in our cars.

For equivalent levels of torque handling automatics are a lot cheaper. At least when you're talking American V8s. Our full size truck market makes for a major economy of scale for automatic equipped v8s.
