Should I feel ashamed of myself ?
I Bought a Semi-Auto (Pads)G37s Coupe. I want to add mods/tune it but i feel like I'd be a laughing stock because of the transmission. I'm new to all this stuff and regret not getting a stick.

Real enthusiasts won't care what transmission you have and you shouldn't either. There are certain advantages of an auto over a manual and vice versa. Many people have modded and tuned cars here with an automatic.
Welcome to the site and congrats on your new G.

I drive an auto. I also happen to track the car, and will drive it far harder than most people ever will (those with manual transmissions included). It's what you make of it - it's not a terrible auto trans.

theres no shame in driving an auto. theres only shame if a person thinks theyre great drivers in an auto. thats jus my thoughts. theres lot of people on the road who love to speed and **** driving with one arm out the window thinking theyre hot **** drivers when theyre driving an auto.

the 7AT with paddle sifters is awesome! no complaints. You get the best of both worlds. Economic, luxury driving from A-B, then when you want to race around and be sporty you have the option of popping it into "manual mode" and using the paddle shifters

lets put it this way. The Nissan GT-R (obviously infiniti is a Nissan too) only comes in manual because its automatic shifting is just that good and has the paddles of course too. Also, all supercars are built the same way. If manual was so much better than why do they not have the option. Throw that in their face and watch them get offended. Though, I enjoy the car for what it is and no matter what transmission you have, its still a dope car and they should appreciate it for that.
