Variable-Compression Engine for 2018?
I came across this article today and the geek in me found it really interesting. It wasn't specific on what applications might end up with it first but it seems the potential if executed properly could be pretty nice. Keep the power and further optimize efficiency.

I saw this on FB the other day, should be really efficient and a great way to make power when needed.
