Check engine light after intake installation
Make sure the MAF's are installed correctly. Pull the code at AutoZone and see what it is. If its intake related, have them clear it and you should be good. I recommend resetting your ECU as well, search the steps to do so.
What Kris said.
Make sure your MAFS are connected.(and clean)
Get the codes for the CEL
Reset your ECU there are some very good threads on how to do this yourself. Takes 5 mins.
BTW you can get a Wifi or bluetooth OBDII code reader to use with your smart phone for ~25 bucks, and an app to use it for free to $10 bucks. Later on it'll save you the trip and time to a place to read it for you, and it'll help with other things down the road.

did you do the install or was it a shop? if its a shop have them check it out. no one here is able to give you the correct answers to your question since you did not provide detailed info in regards to the check engine light concern. did you pull the codes? check for loose vacuum hoses? we are not clairvoyant.
