My good friend, my ex, and a few of my co workers have BMWs and its never ending with them. Also, here in Vegas there is a plethora of German vehicles so that speaks for itself. On another note, drivers of in this city really, really deter me away from anything German....

I agree with that as well. Most of my G37 counterparts here in Vegas are almost as bad of drivers as the German enthusiasts. Its starting to convince me to go with a more low key car on my next purchase...

If I had a BMW dealer nearby I wouldn't hesitate to buy a BMW as long as it had a factory warranty. Our 02 7 Series had a laundry list of parts req'd to keep it road worthy, but TBH I would love to have a new M2 in a couple years after the previous guy paid the depreciation and if I could get an extended warranty.

They're just cars. Life is short.
You're already planning on ditching one after 2 years so it's NBD to go for the BMW and see if you like it. If not, on to the next fun car.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

Agreed. If you have the cash and are really that tired of your G it wouldn't hurt to try out another team.

That being said, buying any vehicle with a salvage title is a huge risk. I can support buying a BMW, but find one that's relatively unmolested instead.

If your main concern is being bored and you never use your warranty on a G, you will definitely never be bored with BMW and the warranty will be used constantly so from that perspective you win. 335 vs G37 - they are roughly the same thing when stock. You can mod 335 and get an easy 100hp bump (or more) but reliability goes from bad to horrible. You can also get into E92 M3 but that costs a lot more than G37, so not really a fair comparison. But at the end of the day it's your money so do what you want with it, if you end up getting a BMW, do not get a salvage title and get M3 over 335 and make sure you have solid long term warranty, you are going to need it. A lot.

WRXs are nice cars. Always liked the boxer exhaust note.
I've also seen the G37 branded as a "douche-mobile"....

I have always loved the sound of the VQ motor specifically in the G and Z so there's some obvious bias BUT, I have yet to hear a BMW sound better than my exhaust..

Best sounding exhaust for the G got to be the amuse imo. I do agree though that's what drew me to the G in the first place. (styling and exhaust note)

Hear the akrapovic, eisenmann, ark exhaust for the M. Very intoxicating and much different sound all the way to 8400 redline.

Two very different unique sounds. I can't really say which one sounds better very subjective.

Ok ok, sounds good.. I see your turbo BMW and I raise you a turbo VQ.. As Slate stated, they are very different beasts, hard to place in the same sound class to be honest lol
