Question about broken carpet mounts
Question about broken carpet mounts
Hello all,
So yesterday those two little mounts that hold my drivers side carpet in place snapped off!! So now the carpet moves around everywhere and it's very annoying.. It will sometimes crumble up under the gas and brake pedal (dangerous) is there a way to replace this price?? It's those two little plastic prices that you latch the carpet onto.. Not sure if the part can even be replaced.
Please help
Thanks

My guess is you would only need to use the hard plastic side of the velcro on the underside of the mat as that should stick to the carpet. If you get it at Lowes/Home Dept, look for the industrial sticky stuff, it should say industrial on the package. This sticks so much better than the regular stuff.
I've got one of those plastic things on the verge of death as well. Good thinking on the velcro. I ended up getting the maxspider 3d floor mats which have kind of a velcro like material on the underside already, they stay put very well on their own and I think they look pretty good.

Check out the MaxSpider 3D mats, I've had them for about a year. They are cheaper than weathertech, Perfect fit, look pretty good, easy to clean, and have held up pretty well.
