I think I'm good to go. Ima jus leave it how it is. At least now I kno the diffuser bracket is supposes to be like how mine is. I'm sure I can unbolt the bumper from the oem bracket to get the diffuser bracket to reach better. Thanks gotair for responding.

hey did you just leave the bolts with that slack, not tightening them all the way up? I just put on my diffuser today and I have the exact same problem lol. The bracket does not come flush with the car. So I was just gonna leave it like this too, the bolts are there but not tightened down all the way because it would either probly break the bracket, or it would push out the top of the diffuser which is only held on by tape. But I tried tugging on it and it seems pretty solid even though those bolts aren’t tightened all the way. I am happy otherwise though; the tape seems to be sealed well without the diffuser popping out from the car leaving any gaps so I am happy with that.

I bought some nylon spacers from the hardware store to fill the gap so the bolt has something to hold on to. But to be honest I'm sure it makes no difference. The top is fit so well that it ain't budging. Or u could do what gotair did and unbolt the bumper from the L bracket and force it down to bolt onto the diffuser bracket
