I was confused at first when I saw it when I search my car but, like the post above me says, that's just the way it shows up. Easy way to tell, if you have adjustable thigh supports on your seats you have the sports package.

Thanks, Rochester,

My car is 2012 with 7AT. So, from your info above, with the auto trans I may or may not have the Sport package. I do have the Bose upgraded sound system with 11 speakers. I believe that the Sport package has the Akebono brakes. My brake caliper housing is silver, with Infiniti brand in gray printed on the housing. I also have the Enkei wheels.

So, I hope I have the Sport. Regardless, a great, fun ride.

Thigh Supports on Board!

Thanks for the advice fellows, I do have the thigh supports, so I am going to bank on the fact that I have the Sport version.

By by the way, many years ago, there was a thread related to a Houston sub-group to myg37. Does anyone know if that group is still active?

Thanks,

Woodlands Ed

Are they the 19" 10-spoke sport wheels? Are your brake calipers smooth, and the fronts large 4-pots?

Akebono brakes on the sport have 'infiniti' printed on them. sounds like you have a sport.

From what I remember the sport model has different suspension, a way bars, steering rack, the bbk, the sport seats, and the auto gets the paddle shifters, and maybe a different front bumper

There's no difference. The VIN search is terrible for determining sport vs nonsport. In my quest to find a new rear differential from a 370z even the Nissan parts counter couldn't look up sport vs nonsport using VIN alone. You have a sport model, that's the simple answer.

Mine was just "6MT". Hard stop, no packages. The Premium, Nav and Sport Packages were baked into the 6MT since 2011, I think. The only thing optional was the front lip, rear spoiler, illuminated side-sills and LED driving lights... which were optional to all models.

Then there was the Limited Edition and the Anniversary Edition Sedans, and Vert, and the IPL Coupe.

There's probably more Coupe things I'm not aware of. My Coupe Lore is week.

Some model years had quirky differences. There were early years where you could get one without a moonroof, then it became standard, then they made it optional again in the G25, but I think made it standard again in the Q40. The thing that started this was the Woodland Elf wondering if he truly had the Sport Package, and sure seems he does. Everything else is so not "what did you do to your coupe today".
