Stripes are unusual these days. That said, when I repaint my car later this year I am SERIOUSLY considering BRE stripes. Vinyl though, not paint. My only issue with this is which color combo? Blue over red or vice versa.
I think what you should do if you really want stripes is to find a complementary vinyl color. In my opinion, part of the issue is that your car for all intent and purposes is completely stock in appearance which makes any striping look out of place. 2nd the white vinyl makes them stand out in the wrong way as if you are bored and just sticking things to the body (like those press-on Buick looking fender vents). I think you could pull off a more angled fender stripe if you had an aftermarket wheel on and the colors complemented each other. Striping at all is not my thing for the most part, but if YOU like it... do your thing

that is a very strong pet peeve of mine. seeing decals and stuff on a stock car
im not familiar with american cars nor do i care for them so i felt nothing. does it come like that from the factory or did someone put a bird on a car thats not supposed to have a bird on the hood?
