Well that was fun.

I just spent the past 2 hours getting my hood to pop.

A couple weeks ago I painted my grill. Turned out nice. Happy with the results.

Well today, I wash my car. As part of my drying process, I dry and clean under the hood.

I go to pop the hood, and nothing.

I realized I screwed something up or reassembled things wrong after putting the grill back on and screwing down the radiator cover.

I had to jack up the car, remove the bottom engine cover and reach up into the latch area.

I pulled the cable and the passenger side came free. The driver side - nothing.

I then had to go in through the drivers side wheel well. I had to reach in near the head light area and felt the spring that connects to the latch. I was able to pop the right side by moving the lever.

I removed the radiator cover and eventually realized I had trapped the hood pop cable under the center hood latch part when I reasembled.

What a pain in the a$$.

 

I got my hidrodipped coolant tank installed and the red hose attached

 

Damn Vizard, looking SO nice there^^more pics of that new tank please.

 

Fixed my bumper and added 6hp with a sticker.

 

Real nice, great color too.

 

Is the band-aid temporary?

Until I save up for a new kit and paint but we're a long ways away from that.

 

shoulda left it. looks cool like a a tree blowing in the wind

 

Cleaned my tb and air intake filters and decided to do some paint work.

 

Nice touch on those intakes^^^
