Thanks for the answers guys. I'm happy with how my car looks so I'll probably skip this. Sounds like there's plenty of potential for something to go wrong and I don't really want the headache. Plus I'm just too lazy to do all the necessary research right now. I'm more anxious to get my new cats on

I cleaned my wheels and shined my tires last night...they were looking a bit dull. Hopefully this weekend I can clean the whole damn car! LoL

Took my coupe in for the 7500 mile service. They deducted the cost of the syn oil change since I have that already in my maint plan. Total came out to 71 after taxes.

Sometimes it's good to let the dealer service the vehicle if you trust them as it's goodwill towards future repairs if needed out of warranty. Plus you don't have to jump through hoops to show you've done the proper maintenance on the vehicle.

You're free to doubt all you want. I have experience with this first hand through both VW and BMW. In fact, it's well known in the BMW community mostly because stuff goes south on a regular basis. They call it good faith points and you get them via regular dealer out of warranty service. My wife's current SUV was in for a water pump earlier this year which VW covered and it's now in for gasket replacement, out of warranty but being mostly covered by VW NA. We get it services regularly at the dealer, including oil changes. I go in to the local Infiniti dealer just so I can be on first name basis with service rep and master mechanic. Gotta work the system.

Nope. I did when I had my G35 but it was a pain in the @$#. There's like 10+ freaking bolts on the plastic cover. Then we have to drop off the used oil somewhere not to mention the mess afterwards.

Infiniti threw in the Diamond VIP program when I leased my Q60. So free oil change and free tires for life (I think).

I did once but it had nothing to do with oil changes. It was the damn sun roof bolt that kept on getting loose and making popping noises every time I go over a bump.

lol them 10+ bolts are still there. to make it easier i use a drill to loosen and help tighten the bolts. much easier and quicker than using a socket wrench. then use the wrench to tighten it up.

They got me new rails and bolts and replaced the headliner with a new one because the other dealership tore it apart and glued it back together.

The first "repair" was done under warranty.

Infiniti also charges extra to change the turn signal fluid. You should change that every 50k miles or so.
