Great job w/ that color choice Tim, and nice turnaround from where your car was just a few weeks ago. That color really ties everything together in a superb way. Hats-off!
You can definitely tell the difference between vinyl and dip, the dip has a very rough feel to it, vinyl is smooth as glass.. Looks like you did a good job though!

I know, I know... I was just kidding but in terms of overall looks, it is quite similar. (i think there are a few vinyl vs dip threads, haha)
That would look so smoking good if it had a clear coat on it. Kudos to you on a good dip job, but i just cant bring myself to doing a whole car in spite of how frakked my paint is.

I am a bit unaware. What will clear coat do on a dip job? Will it make it more shiny? Clear coat is so expensive
But it is actually protecting your OEM paint and saving you $$ in the long run from repaint or retouch. Is is not permanent and you can take it off whenever you please.

I thought they made a "clear" dip that was supposed to add a more glossy effect.
