Hey Viper have you found any solutions yet for the drone? I'm actually in the process of deciding between the HKS, ARK or Motordyne exhaust for my 2010 g37 X.

I currently have a Greddy exhaust on my car and lost the way it sounds but prefer the look of the other 3 exhausts. Esp those mean looking 5 inch muffler tips on the Motordyne!

Wouls it be possible for you to post up any pictures of your setup or possibly even a sound clip? I think I've listen to everyone on YouTube for all 3 exhausts but there's nothing wrong with another. Lolol

Also I believe to help with drone issue RHFC would be your best answer!

Thank you Kenny . I was also considering the RHFC to help with the drone, it seems like the Art types is not the answer to the Drone. I will do some more research about RHFC. Thank you for the suggestion. Also, I will take some exhaust video of my Motordyne shockwave with my Berks HFC and will post it soon here

I think RHFCs might be the best potential solution for you. Resonators being the 2nd because you will need to cut weld.
Keep in mind regarding resonators- they usually soften the tone some- so you may still hear sound it just may not sound as "bright". they usually make the exhaust sound "warmer"- taking the edge off and making the "drone" more tolerable- perhaps eliminating the perception of the drone inside the car. The warmer tone does not usually travel into the cabin as much as the brighter tone.

That was the case for me when I installed my MD XYZ Pipe with resonator vs my previous y-pipe without a resonator. The warmer sound frequency keeps more outside the cabin when cruising.

Very well said. Exactly how i can describe how resonators work.

I'm using ART pipes, a 3" Y pipe, and the Top Speed Axleback. This means my setup unnaturally goes from 3"->2.5" from the Y pipe to the Axleback. This combined with no cats gives me a little rasp and quite a bit of freeway drone. I was thinking of getting some Vibrant resonators welded into my Y pipe, or getting the Y pipe tapered down to properly match the Top Speed Axleback. I don't want to get rid of the Top Speed because when I only had that along with the rest of the exhaust stock, the sound was amazing.
