im not in NJ but literally any front end/axle shop can do the work. Most independent shops in general can do it.

I'd call maybe 2-3 import specialist shops and I bet all of their quotes will be half the dealer cost and all within about $50-60 of each other..

Been talking to some of the mobile mechanics I use since I'm at work a lot during the day, non have given me an exact number yet but seems it will be cheaper then the dealer.

Did I mention the dealer told me since the parts already ordered they will have a problem since its "special ordered" I didn't say much when I was told that just let them know I'll get back to them in about 24 hours.

They're going to want to charge you a restocking fee. I'd guess 20%. I would tell them to go jump in the lake.

I'm usually pretty verbal but this particular dealer in NJ, actually has helped me a lot in the past.. Don't really want to screw them over.. Had it been the dealer I got the car from, different story.

I wouldn't consider this screwing them over. I would turn this totally around and say they are trying to screw you. Compare other quoted prices with theirs and ask why a fully equipped shop with lifts cant get the job done for the same amount? Sounds like you've done a lot of business with them, bring that up.

Another idea, the CV shaft/AXLE is $208 with a lifetime warranty at any auto parts store. Maybe hop on craigslist classifieds and have a local mechanic get it installed for ya on his own time. My sister does that all the time in Seattle. They bring all of their own tools and are happy to get your business without it being taxed and always quote far cheaper than they deserve.
