My roommate has an X at 244k and has hardly even changed the oil in 100k.. It will be just fine

Why? You must live up north. Also you know not running the A/C for long periods of time can actually ruin it.

Yep that happened to my old Miata, I just always had the top down and hardly drove it. Tried using it on a long cruise and turned out the lines dried up and lost pressure. You have to keep the juices flowing in there once and awhile for sure.

I think I might be the only one that doesn't really care about miles. My old 2007 335i BMW I got when it was 135 000 kilometres, and I drove it until it reached 152 000, and then sold it due to problems. So I decided to get my G with lower kilometres, and it has 76 000 kilometres (47 000 miles). That is extremely low. I pretty much drive it without caring about the kilometres one bit. I guess thats the thing with the G, because it is made by Infiniti/Nissan, and its using their great V6 engine, the chances of anything breaking are very minimal. With BMW's, Porsche and Supercars, you kind of have to baby them and not drive them as much because the more miles means the more problems. It's one of the reasons I switched from BMW to Infiniti, and couldn't be happier than my decision.

I'm one of those people who maybe don't drive their G as often as they should. It's not a garage queen and I try to use it every so often by taken out on the GSP in NJ and run it for 20 to 40 miles. It's an 09 G XS sedan and just crossed 13K on the odometer.. I keep up with all the maintenance, I've had the oil changed about 5 times since new with Ester oil every time, and keep on top of any other areas that need attention. I've been lucky to find a service and maint. couple of guys at my Infiniti dealer that have been very up front about what items on my car that really need any attention and what things not to bother with yet. This is the longest I've ever owned a car and enjoy not having any car payments. I hope to get several more years ant major issues arise.

I'm currently in that "caring about miles" mode now. I thought I would be beyond caring for miles now that my 2008 Honda Accord (bought brand new back '08) is now sitting with 145K miles (w/ no issues). I bought my 2011 G37s last Sept with only 31K miles and now it's sitting with 50K miles and call me crazy, but I curse myself for every 1K miles I put on it. I know I need to enjoy the G more and I do and eventually I'll get over the hold mile things.

I get flack for my car gets allot of under the cover time... But I ride a motorcycle firstly. I purchased my Concours 14 for my motorcycle has always been my primary ride, most of the year round. Last year I put 3K miles on my car. Last year I put 21K miles on bike... Better on gas, faster then the cage too... MUCH faster.

I bought my G with 27K in April... It just hit 28K so I ride this car more then any other but I drove the G in today which was the first time in 2 weeks...
