Noises all the time. Get used to it, def cause console and corresponding trim pieces aren't tightly popped on, but music on or windows down with a nice exhaust and don't hear nothing.

Easily the best way to handle trim noises, you can take it apart and add weatherstripping foam around the seals and between the trim to soak up the rattles and it helps a bit, but the older it gets the more rattles it has. Right now I have some on my steering wheel console trim and near my driver's side tweeter cover that I can't find the cause yet. Aka windows down and or music is the solution lol

I had a rattle behind the steering wheel column in my 08. It was the wiring harness just below the steering column rattling against the plastic. There is a small cover on the bottom of the column and if you pop it off and just secure the wiring harness better you might get rid of the rattle- worked for me.
My car makes a different noise everyday, I am sick of it. It is really turning me off to Infiniti. My last G was dead quite for 100k, this one is killing me. I can not stand noise in my car at all!!! This sucks!

Im going to give it a try....i sense the sarcasm all up in this one...No?
It's a long shot but shortly after we go our G there was this subtle rattle noise and it proved very hard to locate. The sound seemed to "move" when I would change locations in the car. Turned out to be my wife put a large pair of clunky sunglasses in the overhead holder that was rattling around.

i had shades in my holder, and SWORE something was rattling around behind the glovebox!!! LOL removed glovebox ... nothing.
solved with a piece of 1" wide foam weatherstripping inside sunglass holder to stop shades from rattling ...

Funny that someone else had the same issue. What was the most strange is how hard it was to locate the sound one minute it sounded like it was coming from a door panel, then the dash, then the console ...
Here is the rattle drove me nuts for weeks
I thought it was coming from somewhere behind the steering wheel column.....as it turns out it was the plastic trim inside the driver's door handle.

first i thought glovebox, then center console, then glovebox for sure ....
very hard to pinpoint - sounded like a brick sliding around with 2 feet of travel.

how'd you fix it? there's usually a screw behind the handle - just tighten, or add some weatherstripping/felt?
