Need help making q60 louder
A quick pull with Topspeed Pro 1 Axle Ba
Attachment 120632
I have a topspeed pro 1 axle back. And these pictures are before i put on the extensions. The exhaust pipes were too short and were burning the bottom of the bumper and thats why i got extensions welded on. The topspeed pro 1 axle back is for 08-13 g37 coupes and even though the engine is the same, the piping lengths are different as I was told by a representative from Topspeed. At first I was content with the sound but now it only sounds good on certain days for some reason.
Thanks for the inputs

.adding a Y pipe doesn't do squat for sound. I have tested that theory myself.
This is just my 02 cents.

These are the two things that I've narrowed it down to.... Which one would you recommend? And would either one make a noticeable difference?

They're going to equally make a couple ponies and add some noise, make your pick man. Just be aware you will likely get a check engine light, you wont pass emissions or inspections if they require it and your car will stink without cats.. I absolutely recommend you get high flow cats, but its your car.

Yep what kris said.
Looks like you have the axleback with resonators, which are tame and somewhat quiet. I would recommend HFC to make it a couple levels louder. Removing the OEM resonator will probably make your car sound raspy.
Thanks for all the inputs guys. I guess I'll go with the HFC's like you all suggested. Now the question is should i go with the resonated HFC's or the non resonated HFC's? Whats the difference between them?
Very unlikely, plus you'll save the ozone a bit and your hot date wont dump you for making her hair smell like chemicals. It gets nauseating man, and I love cars and the smell of race gas etc..
