Can't believe at how much people think that your not driving a Nissan. The only difference between the skyline 370gt and Infiniti G37 are RHD and side markers and Amber tails and some other stuff! Everyone can say it's not part of the skyline heritage but it is there's no reason why jdm ones are skyline 370gt's. Just because the 370gt doesn't have a rb or turbo on it doesn't mean it's part of the line up. It's a Nissan in reality and in Japan it's a skyline 370gt so there's nothing wrong in rebadging when the people that really know cars in Japan they will know it's basically the same car with a few differences but mainly same chassis engine etc. each their own but when you think you drive a Nissan you do. Just my opinion on it.

 

in Japan, they put Infiniti and Lexus badges on their Nissans and Toyotas.

here, we do the opposite.

everyone wants what the other guys get.




put a Hello Kitty badge on it and be done with it.

My vote is to swap out infiniti badges for nissan badges and thats it. Then watch the confused people as they try to figure out what nissan car you're driving.

Oh and theres a guy by me somewhere who did the 370gt skyline rebadge. Didnt look bad, but it just didnt feel right either.

 

Again I think some of you are mixing up Skyline and GTR, they are different animals too. Like I mentioned, its like the Lancer and the Evo. So the G37 IS essentially a USDM Skyline but since its not a "Nissan" it was not called a Skyline. And by no means is it a GTR
