Is a G37S a True Z car?
ive autocrossed for close to two decades now.. ran my brother in laws 350 on more than several occasions...
its by no means a go kart with doors... more fitting for that description is a miata

I was comparing a Z to a G, but I can see a Miata being more like a go kart than a Z.
no our g's is the car tuners in japan mostly ignored. at least thats wat it said on wiki lmao. you kno if you look on the nismo catalog the g's are not grouped with the skylines lol and the gtr is grouped with the real skylines. so what does that tell you people who think the g37 is like a real skyline. i think in the japan catalogue its grouped with the zs
Please do NOT rebadge it as a Z.
Please do NOT rebadge it as a "skyline".
It is NEITHER of these.
As others have said its a rebranded skyline? No, that's 100% false. There is only 1 skyline, and its a RHD "G37" look alike in Japan. Keep it that way.
Is a Z a G37? No. Does it have the same motor, same suspension components, etc? yes! Is it the exact same platform? Yes! But is it a "Z"? No, Its an Infiniti which is the "upscale" side of the Nissan branding. (such as Lexus to Toyota).
I've owned a G35 Coupe, then my G37 Coupe, and now my 370z Nismo. I'll be the first to say all three of them are ALL completely different cars. Even with the G37 having so many similar characteristics as the 370, they're day and night.
Shorter and wider wheel base change all of the driving characteristics between the two, not to mention the amount of weight difference between the two cars.
Street driving? G37 Coupe all day
Track driving? 370z FTW
