HELP: Horrible rear bracket rubbing with my new spacers :(
Thanks Bryan means alot brother! It just sucks bc when they were installed the look of them was SPOT ON PERFECT! I literally fell in love with my entire setup all over again. Drove out for 3 mins and turned right back around to take them off

Highly doubt I bent both rear wheels they are brand new and I've only had them installed for about 3weeks now and don't remember ever hitting a big enough pothole to have that happen. Don't scare me! Lol
I was referred from a fellow forum memeber in Nj to check out a place called Riverside Body and Fender Works and i decided to stop by today and I must say I was blown away with the owner Wayne and how helpful and truly informative he was with my situation. I've never seen an owner so involved with their first time clients. He spent about 25 mins with me outside by my car showing me everything he can do and even did some drawings. Honestly this has probably been the best customer care I've witnessed and I've been doing this for a while.
Now the important part... waiting on a call back with an estimate for everything lol

Turns out my driver side rear is 3/4 inch lower than the passenger side so the owner said he'd check that out also. Got my estimate and it's not bad at all for the work he plans on doing. It's actually the same exact number I had in my head not a dollar more or less which is awesome. So as long as everything goes right and nothing wrong pops up (which with the luck I have something new always pops up during these visits) I should have it done by next wed or Thurs with updated photos!
I'm still laughing about that lol

For the spacers, make sure the wheels are sitting flush on the hub. There should be grooves in the back of the wheel. If it doesn't clear the spacers, it's not gonna sit flush. I had to shave down two of my stubs to fit my Works with 20mm spacers.

The owner who does all the hands on work as well has a ton of experience in auto body and recommended instead of cutting 2-3 inches off the fender liner he wants to cut off like 3/4 of an inch and then take really tiny small screws or divets and completely secure it into the inside of the fender wall. He said that way it won't effect the tire at all with any rubbing or anything. Has anyone tried this technique?

I should've mentioned my fender liner seems to be hanging down I have no idea as how that got to happen. Worst case I guess if it does rub I'll just rub a patch in mine as well! Lol

Glad to hear you're getting everything sorted out, Kenny! I actually had a friend who owns a body shop over my house yesterday and I remembered that you texted me about it and we jacked up my car to look at the rear bracket because I figured maybe one of us could give you some insight on it, but it looks like you're all set now.
Thanks so much Trevor! Yeah man 'tscani' on the forum was finally able to point me in the right direction to a shop in NJ that finally had a good concept of what I was asking you be done. I'm just hoping that no others issues arise during the process! Lol
Kennys issue pursuaded to get mine taken care of. Hopefully i cut enough and am still able to get a self tapping screw in if the bumper doesnt stay put but for now it is tight and doesnt move at all.

. Sounds like a pain in the butt. Your story reminds me when I was looking for a mechanic to install my Eibach springs. Most shops thought I was insane and would give me dirty looks haha.
