You should be calling them every day for an update, if they haven't contacted you yet it's likely they haven't found a solution or started working on it. If I were in your shoes I would be all over the dealer until they were able to give me some specifics.

well the solution is that the car needs a new ecm/ecu. its a matter of whos gonna pay for it i guess. in the phone conversation the service guy said they plugged in another ecm to test in my car and it worked. so the last thing the service guy said was let him talk with the service manager and he will call me back.

having their free loaner helps with the patients. if i was stuck having to catch the bus or something to work everyday id probably be handling it differently lol

anyone with dealership experience? or worst case my cars jus sitting in the shop collect shop dust. theyve had my car since friday.
Call them, ask to speak to the Service Manager from the start and ask for a status. Don't wait for them to call you .... squeaky wheel gets the oil.

Agreed ^^^

Call them or they will somehow reprogram your old ECU to make it look like you had a tune and screw you...I would have called them every day. Twice a day....
I hate dealer service centers....I have not taken my last 3 cars ever to one...I always buy the service tech manuals and try to do everything I can myself...
Of course a key would be impossible...sorry for your trouble OP. I hope they change the ECU and your done ...

He's putting miles on their car. It's not all bad. Hopefully they take care of it soon. I don't see any way you get stuck paying for any of this.
