in NJ here and front plate ticket is not a huge deal, $56 I think? My coupe came with a front plate bracket installed, I ripped it off. No tickets on this car to date!

Cali requires both front and back plates. Your lucky to never get pulled over for not having the front one. That stillen one is a good one for thought

I have a brand new stock bracket for sale since I am using the Stillen no drill license plate bracket. Plates have still not come in yet at the dealership.

Be happy about the front plate bracket. Some a$$hole who previously owned my G, decided it would be a spectacular idea to drill directly into the bumper. Stuff like that just kills me.

Also, I'm in VA.

There’s no question that our cars look better without a front plate. But you’ve got to consider that being pulled over for that subjects you to making the situation worse by the officer finding other things, such as no insurance papers, illegal tint, not wearing a seat belt, or having one too many drinks at that party you’re coming home from. It’s a stretch of course, but that no front plate pullover could end up with jail time and/or an impounded car.

Same.. disgusting. It's driving me mad to the point where between some asshat who scraped my bumper in the parking lot while i was gone, and all the rock chips of 90K miles, I'm gonna get a new bumper.

Also, in 2 years without my front plate I've never had any trouble from the cops. I live in the East Bay where you don't see too many modded cars though so maybe that's why the cops aren't too keen on it. I have a tow hook plate holder now, though.

I have to have a front plate. Not only is it the law, just try to pull into a secured parking lot without it....

DHS/NSA/etc don't mess around. . MD/DC/VA is thick with officials...

bumperplus.com is your friend for those damed holes. There are also a few other companies that make front tow brackets. Just google.
