Removing trunk carpet lining?

Is removing the liner from the trunk as simple as popping off all those large flat, circular in shape clips?

Planning on putting in some dynamat this weekend and was trying to figure out if I need to remove the carpet lining before removing the large plastic blocks that make up the area for the spare tire.

Also, the rear seats, the DIY says to just pull up forcefully and they'll unclip. I tried last night and felt like I was gonna break something. Is that normal? I just need to pull up, strongly and smoothly right?

Thanks guys.

as for the trunk liner.. yes, remove the clips and the liner will come out.. just make sure you get them all.

can use the beginning part of this DIY to help you along.

The plastic piece in the middle just pulls up, it's basically clipped on, easy to remove.

Not sure on the seats though.

Oh, good find. Thank you!

Also, hows it in Orlando these days? I grew up for the most part there. Haven't lived there in like 5 years though.

back seat remove pretty simple. pull up from the center section. might help if you squat facing forward and sumo stance lift it. I thought I was going to break something when I did this but didn't.

Managed to get it up by "sitting" on the seat and pulling up. I basically squatted with my back on the upper rear seat and used my legs and arms to pull up.
