Hello, I was wondering if there were any significant differences between the 2008 and 2011 mufflers in G37s coupes. I'm planning on getting the sport-accessory muffler (#b01001ng26) installed in my 2008 and I understand that particular option came out later than my car.

Long story short my local dealership would install it for free but I'm planning on paying to get it installed in the states while I'm down there so I just want to make sure that there won't be any issues with installing the sport muffler to my car because labour time will be a factor.

I did a brief search for muffler parts on infinitipartsusa to see if the muffler part numbers differ between the two years and the muffler doesn't seem to pop up for 2011 as it does for 2008 so is it safe to assume that the mufflers between the two years are interchangeable?

 

No differences as far as fitment- its all the same

I had the accessory muffler on my 2008 which was totaled and now its on my 2012

 

the only difference is about 3 years. LoL

 

Exactly, I agree with the others, there is not much difference.
