My first g37...what should i do next?
With the manual, we can actually rest during those time you have your foot on the brakes.
But we're going way off topic. Back to the topic. Buy my splash guards and Sports exhaust! lol
And this different then stepping on the gas, then the brake, then the gas, then the brake, then hold on the brake, let go of the brake, hold the brake, let go of the brake? That doesn't get old?

How much are you selling the exhaust for??
Glad to have you man!! Welcome to the club!
First thing I did was a long tube cold air intake. This has nothing to do with the traffic you'll be involved in daily, but it sure is a fun mod! It was also my very first project I ever did myself. Just like you when I bought this car I immediately wanted to start the learning and modding process.

Thanks man!
I know haha same here, I know its an automatic and all, but i dont really care, i still want to fix it up
There's so many things man where can I start!
Aesthetics:
Suspension lowering:
Lowering springs: I would recommend mild drops such as swift springs, eibach pro kit etc.
I had both and really like the quality of swift
Coilovers: depending on budget coil overs can cost a little more but are adjustable and can get the car lower ok how you want it, there's plenty of good one KW are one of the best, BC Racing, Tein etc
Wheels:
20's goes really well when lowering it, there so many choices depending on budgets, I think the JDM wheels are the best but yes they will cost more but def worth the price, for people on a budget some good quality cast wheels like niches, vossens, etc........ List goes on plenty of vendors on here for wheels, getyourwheels.com , carid.com , JDM wheels a good place to look is ravspec.com
Exhaust: lots of choices, on a budget axle back exhaust such as top speed are a good bang for your buck, full catback is also great such as ARK, Stillen, Invidea, HKS, etc.
High flow Cats are good for performace gains:
Resonated HFC from fast intentions really good, z1 high flow cats
Test pipes: Motordyne Art pipes are amazing from what I have heard and loud!
Intake:
Most gains Stillen Gen 3 long tube
Takeda is also good as well
R2C for short ram is also a good mod!

You should start here OP. Just be careful Sir. Modding is very similar to crack, except crack is much cheaper!!

P.S. That is only halfway a joke up there. You can start with a $350 long tube cold air intake and before you know what happened you've dropped $2....$4....$10,000 on mods.
It's worth it if you pick the right mods and take your time. A wise man told me once...
"Buy off the classifieds whenever possible, and buy quality mods when you do buy. If you follow this method you can expect to get back around 80% of your investment when you eventually part out." Blnewt (aka-Brad)
