Well... i have a black G37 Sedan, and I am going to paint the grill black, but leave the emblem chrome. I am leaning towards leaving the outer trim chrome as well... but others have said it may look better having the whole grill done black, and just leave the emblem...

OR... should I just not touch it, and leave the whole grill chrome?

So... what do you all think??

I would paint the whole grille including the emblem if it was mine. What shade of black satin or gloss?

 

I got a black car too. i will eventually paint myne but leave the outer edges and emblem alone liek the midnight grill.

I like the Midnight Black look...even though it isn't that cool on Blue Slate...I even used a Rustoleum Black Midnight Metallic to come up with a slightly toned down verrsion of the OEM grill...See link:
