How much is my ride worth?

Hi Everyone,

I have a 2011 G37 IPL (Automatic) with just under 53k miles. The car was bought from an Infiniti dealer and has an existing CPO warrantee that is transferable with a private sale. I'm the second owner and the car has a clean title. The carfax report shows an accident on the car, however this was only minor and very little damage was done.

How much do you all think my car is worth if I were to sell it on my own?

Thanks

We need pictures to see its condition.

Do you have all service records?

Have you modded it?

The car is in Good-Very Good Condition. I have all the service records since after my purchase of the car (1 year ago). Again, it is a CPO car. And no mods have been done.

Also depends on where you live. KBB is a good starting point. From the info you've given, it shows your car at about $29k if in excellent condition.

Note: KBB's definition of "excellent"
Kelley Blue Book® Private Party Value
This is the starting point for negotiation of a used-car sale between a private buyer and seller. This is an "as is" value that does not include any warranties. The final price depends on the car’s actual condition and local market factors.
Excellent - 3% of all cars we value
Looks new and is in excellent mechanical condition
Has never had any paint touch-ups and/or bodywork
Does not need reconditioning
The engine compartment is clean and free of leaks
Is free of rust
The body and interior are free of wear or visible defects
Wheels are flawless
All tires match and are like new
Has a clean title history and will pass a safety and smog inspection
Has complete and verifiable service records

I bought the exact same car in excellent condition from a dealer for $32K. It had 42K miles at the time and had not been modified in any way. I hope this helps.

^^ Would sound about right, too. From a dealer there's less negotiating room (typically) and you'll usually end up paying a little more than from a private party (no overhead, insurance, etc needed to pad the price).
