2011 IPL front rotor bolt? 2010 X didn't have it

Hey, so my 2010 X didn't have this. I want to install new wheels but this bolt is in the way. What's it for? Does it need to be on there? (Obviously it probably does) lol how can I get around installing new wheels that aren't deep enough to clear this? Maybe a spacer?

The bolt is to make sure you do not mix up the staggered wheel set-up that comes stock. Just remove the bolt.

The 2010 G37X used the same wheels all 'round, but as LT8 says, the G37 coupe uses a staggered set. The intention is to 'idiot proof" the mis-rotation of wheels and tires, but carefully examine the size differences between front and rear wheels you are picking. Remove the bolt with a 10 mm wrench or socket.
