Need Opinions on Lowering the AWD Coupe

Hey all, I've been mainly trolling the forums for a couple of years now being able to find the information that I need. However, I'm torn on what to do as far as lowering springs go for my 2011 AWD Coupe. I can find all the information just fine but it's more the personal opinions I'm looking for. If your AWD coupe is dropped on springs, post which ones and your opinion on ride quality compared to stock, stiffness, drop height, alignment specs, and whatever other useful information you can think off. If you have coilovers post your opinions as well. From what I've read so far it seems that all the coilovers for the AWD coupe are junk, but lets hear them anyway.

Spring Options for AWD Coupe
Eibach 6394.10 (1.9"F 1.6"R)
Swift 4N911 (1.3"F 1.0"R)
Tanabe NF210 (1.0"F 1.3"R)

The Swift drop sounds perfect to me. Eibach is too low and Tanabe seems uneven.

Things to consider:
OEM 18" Wheels
Daily Driver In New England
Snow and Potholes. Lots and lots of potholes.
Would like to maintain somewhat of a comfortable ride.
No other suspension mods yet. Will be simultaneously installing Cusco Strut Bar and Hotchki Sway Bars.
Would like to avoid alignment kits, but not opposed to buying them if necessary. A little camber is ok.

I have 2010 G37x Coupe and I have the Eibachs waiting to be installed for the past 7-8 months now. Only problem I have is being able to park in my driveway or not and also all these speed bumps and potholes and what not that are every where. I might just go and do it though since my friend with a mustang also installed eibachs and he's been fine driving around here. & my other friend with a G37S coupe is fine also. I love the lowered look just iffy about the problems that might come with it haha.

I'm in a similar position and have come to same tentative conclusion you have. The Swift springs seem like the perfect drop for a practical daily driver and it seems that a lot of the people with them think they're still pretty comfortable. I can't really offer an opinion of my own yet but I'm probably pulling the trigger on the Swifts this week sometime.

2011 g37x DD in Chicago. Bad winters and bad roads. I have Swift spring for 10 days now. I was looking for perfect drop, not to much not to little .Eibach was to much plus I want to save OEM ride quality. Swift drop is 1 1/8 rear 1 1/2 front after 10 days of driving. Ride quality is the same if not better with Swift. I install alignment kit front and rear at the same time with springs so I can't tell if You can get away without alignment kit. I did alignment right after installation and again yesterday after 10 days of driving and I am perfect within factory specs. Love it so far, so do it and You will be happy.

Eibach looks better.

Swift rides better.

Tanabe hasnt even been tested for the 2011 g37x coupe so that is not an option, and the drop is uneven.

You have to make compromises, it sounds like you already made up your mind so I would stick with your gut.

I just upload new pics on my build thread with the swifts after about a week on the car. I also have 2011 g37x coupe and was in same exact situation. I will also be writing a review soon for them. Actually my entire thread might be helpful to you, installed hotchkis sways and strut bar as well.

Thanks for the link. I've already been stalking your thread lol. First real impressions for the Swift Springs on the AWD coupe. It helped sway me towards them in the first place.

Thanks. Will definitely keep an eye on your build thread. We seem to be on a similar path with our mods. At least with the suspension.

Thanks to all for the feedback so far. Keep it coming. Can't have too many opinions when it comes to stuff like this.

I've had the Eibach kit on my 2011 37x coupe for about 2 months now. Didn't feel like trial and error so based on many others' experiences I had the SPC camber kit installed at the same time. It's pretty low IMO and definitely looks better than the pics I've seen of the Swift drop.

I've scrapped it once in a place where the road had sunken tire tracks but I'm used to how low it is now.

I don't find the ride uncomfortable although I was never that impressed with the ride quality to begin with.
