2008 g37 coupe Sport - Major issues?

So I might get one of these soon from a private seller. He's asking around $16k for it which I think is a solid price. It has 60k miles. What major things should I be looking for before getting the vehicle? In other words, what should I have an auto shop inspect? Thanks.

Jesus, how was yours so much?? I can find 2010 sports with less miles than that for a cheaper price. Also, for the exhaust, would that be something a mechanic can find? I am not too good with cars.

Have it inspected at an Infiniti dealer and have them hook up the Consult tool and run the VIN number.

Any discovered issues can be used to either lower the price or walk away.

Just my $.02

I bought my 08 G37S with no upgrade packages for $15,999 from a used car lot with 70,500 miles. The only issues that I have/had with it so far are that the curb rash was really bad on the wheels (dealership took care of that for me), and there is a baffle in the muffler that has gone bad and occasionally rattles. I also discovered today that my glove box light doesn't work, even with a new bulb. Problem is, neither of those things are covered under warranty. Muffler assembly is ~900-1000 to get fixed (parts and labor), quoted earlier today. Seeing as it is just annoying and doesnt really cause any issue, I'll wait til I have money for an after market exhaust and see if I can't find a shop that will let me rent a lift, or do it for cheaper than Infiniti.

Yea i'm hoping to bring it to the dealership and see what they say about it. Any idea on what an inspection from them would cost?

Yea that's a good price, the only problem with mine is that the tires have only 1k-2k miles left which is fine because I was planning on replacing them anyways.
