Have $3000 to spend on my 08 g37s coupe.. What should I get

If you guys had $3000 to spend what would you buy to make your G coupe better??

Thinking exhaust, hfc, wheels and tune.. My emphasis is on speed and handling rather than looks...

Any suggestions on what I should do? Thanks guys!

Sway bars. Great tires. Good brake pads. ECU tune.

I would do the 3 big airflow mods (cai, cbe, rhfc) and sway bars.

That should eat up most of it, and leave you with maybe enough to get a tune. It depends on the brands you buy.

Increase your budget

sway bars, springs or coilovers (FOR SURE), upgraded cold air intakes, ---> replace all your spark plugs and coils with upgraded better ones or OEM it will make such a difference on your takeoffs very noticeable (on a 2008 its already about that time to do it anyways before you get a misfire and youre like wtfff is going on lol), get some upgraded brakes, i wouldnt waste money on a tune especially if its your daily unless youre about that life and are wanting to race everyone you see lol, exhaust would be the cherry on top with that surplus of cash you got haha just my .02 man, with the type of cars we have 3k will only take you so far as i learned lol

Then you clean up the exhaust.

Exhaust and coilovers would be the biggest/best thing you could do IMHO. The exhaust will give you a little extra hp/tq, and the sound will really liven up the G and make it much more enjoyable. The sound also makes it feel faster haha. Coilovers will vastly improve your handling while adding traction. It will also will give you adjustability as far as ride height and possibly dampening and rebound.... To do this well you might go over $200-$300... I suggest KWv1 coilovers, which are $1600 (you can check the for sale section, I think there are some KWv3s there for the same price, which is what I have and LOVE) .... As for exhaust there are many options.... Maybe a GTHaus Meisterschaft axle back for $1500? Might be biased there too lol

Edit:
You can see my reviews in my build thread here, with videos of before and after the exhaust, however my GTHaus is the full catback not the axle back.

Wheels and tires. Makes the biggest difference imo.

And some lowering springs if you have a few hundred left over. That wheel gap will drive you crazy after you've upgraded the wheels and tires.

Always looks kinda cheesy when you see a car that's lowered with exhaust and stock wheels.

If I had $3000 with my current car setup I would get coil overs for sure.

How many miles on your car, OP? If they're getting up there, I'd refresh the suspension: swaybars, Konis and your spring of choice.

That would probably leave enough for wheels + summer tires (assuming you're running winters on your 19s), if not, 245/275s on your OE wheels. Probably enough left over with the latter option to get an intake or exhaust.
