Jus tmy 2 cents.. Motordyne Intake Plennum FTW!!! That should be on everyone's list for NA mods... Forget intakes. Most lose low end torque. The Stillen one is good but expensive and cumbersome to install.
I wouldnt spend much money on an exhaust after that. You do get more sound but for the money, you don't get much power out of most NA breathing mods. If you want more exhaust sound I would go with something like the Tanabe Medallion. If power is what you are looking for Motordye Intake Plennum. Then put the rest of your money into brake and suspension upgrades. then circle back to exhaust upgrades later

I'm actually in the same boat...I have a $3000 dollar budget. I've purchased Fast Intentions exhaust and RHFC's. That leaves me with $900. I don't know whether I just wanna get a tune or Takeda long tube intake without a tune or. Is an intake manifold worth it without getting intakes? Decisions decisions!!!

Performance to return ratio is terrible with this car. HFC/Intake and the rest on cosmetic.

Don't tune it without the intake. Get the intake, save up a little more, then tune.

Then work on cosmetic mods for a bit.

Agreed, but that's a minority opinion around here.

Suspension mods offer a better ROI IMO.

I'm actually done with my cosmetics. I have Vossen CV2's lowered on Eibach springs, chin spoiler, and sway bars thus far.

I think the plans gonna be catback first thing.. Probably greddy tic 800$ and sounds good and loud enough IMO.. Also HFCs kinetix probably over the berks... My buddy had kinetix HFCs in his SC 350z and they made the car sound like an f1 car.. From what I've heard by far the biggest choke point in our exhaust systems is the cats and they provide about 7 - 10 whp proven on a dyno (with aftermarket exhaust).

I've been thinking intake plenum, manifold and headers soon as we'll.. I have plans to supercharge It in a few months with the stillen kit, hopefully if my financial situation stays pretty good.

After thinking for a while I'm probably gonna say screw it and do coil overs .. They just make he Gs look so awesome, and after what everyone says it doesn't kill the ride quality but offers major handling improvements.

Sway bars are absolutely key from what I understand so that's gonna be purchase very soon as we'll, throw me some good brand suggestions guys I have no idea about which ones to get. Also have no idea about which coil overs to get either.

The only thing that might hold me back is the fact that my transmission is whining loudly in every gear, however, after careful deliberating I've figured the throw out bearing is the culprit. Only because when the car is parked in neutral with the clutch disengaged it makes the same whine when I rev it, but if I step on the clutch (parked in neutral remember) the noise goes away.. If anyone can shed some light on this you would be the f-ing man just because this is the biggest and only annoyance I have, but it is a major annoyance. I mean the whine is loud, it sounds like I have a supercharger up to 4k then the exhaust masks the noise. So someone please tell me it's just the throw out bearing because a new tranny would take up my whole $3000 budget.

So after everything I've decided to go with greddy tic catback, kinetix HFC, and some good coil overs, that is if my transmission isn't ****ed. Hopefully if there's anything left I'm gonna get a good tune and a set of new spark plugs and might stretch it for the sway bars.

Thanks guys and if there's another suggestions about what I can do please let me know!!

Intake manifold> Intake.

Instantly noticed a difference in acceleration and torque. Improves sound as well.

I would get one or the other and not both.. Otherwise its a waste.

So will my stock boxes suck in as much air into the manifold as a cold air intake? Thanks for the info!

I have around $2k to spend and went with HSD coilovers, installing toe bolt kit, upgrading front headlights (LED fogs, 6k HIDs) from DiodeDynamics, interior lights and that's cost me about $1250 in parts so far. Does your budget include the cost of labor or is the $3k just for parts because I'd recommend going with springs/ coils and a camber kit at the very least, I drove my car for 2 years so far without a drop and hated how high up it sits.

So far labor alone for installing the coilovers, lights and camber kit if I go with the full f&r kit will be about $400 bringing the cost of lowering to around $2000 if I get a camber kit but I live in Canada so we pay more for everything
