IPL Black Series?
Hey guys, not sure if I posted this in the right section but I found this online. The dealership seems to be trying to pull a fast one on someone who doesn't know better by claiming its a 1 of 1 Black series IPL edition
Thoughts?
2013 Infiniti G37 IPL Black Series - Inventory | JD Motors | Auto dealership in Austin, Texas
Seems to just be a G37 coupe Journey with mods....am I right?

Looks like its a 2013 G37S 6MT?
Vehicle Identification Number VIN JN1CV6EK3DM923019
The suede accents look interesting, but I'm not feeling the custom stitching of "black edition". And I love how they went through the trouble to put the Q60 badges (and IPL, if its not) on there when a "2013 Q60 IPL" isn't even a thing.
It's got an interesting (in a good way) look, and you can clearly tell work and attention (and money) went into it, but it's definitely overpriced for what it is - a done up '13 6MT and not whatever ridiculousness they named it.

It's not an IPL black series, because that does not exist. Some of the mods are tasteful, others are not so much. It's definitely a polarizing car and it's overpriced.
That's a lot of badging that doesn't belong on that car. GTR badges. Q60 badges. IPL badges. Of which none are true.

You could easily find that same car unmodified for $10k less. With that $10k, you can mod it to your liking, and even go FI instead of spending all of the money on badges.

So I guess the dealership is trying to say it's a "1 of a kind" with regards to the mods!? Your right that's a misleading sales pitch. Cars cool tho. Price isn't terrible if it's a vert.
i do like how the guy was able to vacuum neat lines into his carpet and red suede. i've seen that before but i can't do the same. must be some sort of detailing vacuum attachment or something.
aside from that, the car is a mishmash of parts and pieces all stuck together to create an identity crisis. most of the parts do not look right, and very few look OK. but almost all would devalue the car in my books. even the BBK does not add value for a DD since the stock Akebono brakes are more than enough and still look good. maybe paint the stock calipers if a guy had to and change pads and brake fluid for track duty. more than enough for 99.9% of G enthusiasts.

Yeah I drive by this dealership everyday and noticed it out front. They have a bunch of modded cars...all overpriced...my buddy learned his lesson when he bought a 350Z Nismo from them and 1 day later the Check engine light came on...he ended up paying another $2,000 to get it fixed on his own
Putting an IPL badge on a car that's not an IPL is one thing, but this car doesn't have a single element from the IPL and has THREE IPL badges (trunk and both fenders) and IPL seat back inserts, totaling 5 IPL badges. Then, it has 2 GTR badges and for some reason, and a Q60 badge. The Q60 badge was probably to represent that this car is similar to the Q60 concept car, that is the only logical explanation (I used ricer math to calculate this).
