I dont see how a turbo is in there. The intakes attach directly to the TBs.

I agree. No turbo. Perhaps the original owner was planning on adding a turbo, and never got around to it.

Does that boost controller by chance also allow for A/F tuning? If so, I can see why someone who was going to get a turbo, would buy that in advance...as they can put it to use tuning the car. If not, then I dunno why it would be there.

Or there was a turbo, the car was abused, and the turbo was parted out and sold for quick and easy cash. I'm sure this car has a story, they all do.

Some poor schmuck is going to pick up this car and not know that there is no such thing as a Black Series... I mean this isn't AMG we're talking.

Not sure why the dealer couldn't just call it what it is- a customized Sport coupe.

Because when the dealer finds that right person for this car that actually thinks it is a "Black Series IPL 1 of 1", he will be more than happy to pay whatever it takes to be the owner of this rare vehicle.

Little does this future buyer know, the "Black Series IPL" is even more rare than he will know, it is actually a 1 of 0.

aside from that, the car is a mishmash of parts and pieces all stuck together to create an identity crisis. most of the parts do not look right, and very few look OK. but almost all would devalue the car in my books. even the BBK does not add value for a DD since the stock Akebono brakes are more than enough and still look good. maybe paint the stock calipers if a guy had to and change pads and brake fluid for track duty. more than enough for 99.9% of G enthusiasts.
i always wondered the same thing. ironically i was just on twitter and happened to click on a car hacks link and from what i read they brush it
