looking to buy

Im in the Dallas, TX. area and have started to look at buying a G37 coupe. I have noticed alot (80%) of the coupes for sale are 2008 models. Are there any issue(s) with this year model that I need to be aware of?

I am from Dallas, TX area. I bought an 08 model and haven't had any problems. I had my battery died on me and had the dealership updated the vent control valve.

Depending on what options you'd want. I'd go for 2010+ model for updated high def navi screen + blue tooth audio streaming, and 2011+ for lower fog lights and updated front bumper on sports model. Enjoy looking. Lucky for you DFW has a wide range of G37 to look at..so look at what options and colors you want and settle for no less.

I recently picked up a 2008 S 6MT. As far as I was able to tell, everything is the same with all the major components through the years. One of the differences I noted was that the later years have a stock oil cooler, while the 2008 didn't. That wasn't a big deal to me since I intend to get an aftermarket one anyway, but that might be relevant if you're in a hot climate and don't want to go aftermarket. Also, for me, I preferred to have the dummy air vents instead of the fog lights because it left an option open to run brake ducts there if I wanted.

Considering the cars didn't change much during the run of 2008-present, and you don't have to deal with rust, I'd just go with the lowest mileage with the options you want, that you can afford.
