Beeping Sound After Startup

Okay guys, I'm wondering if anyone knows what this weird beeping sound is because I have no clue what it's for.

I have a 2008 G37S and after I start the car, I usually let it warm up for about 3-5 minutes before I start driving. After about a minute after the car is started, it beeps about 6 times in rapid successions for no apparent reason!?! I initially thought it was because I didn't have my seat belt on but recently, I've been more conscious of putting on my seat belt on beforehand but it still beeps.

Thoughts!?!

Are you usually with the car for the whole warm up period? I think it beeps if you take the key away while it's running but can't remember.

Yes, I'm sitting there the whole time. It does beep when I step out as but that beep is a different type of beep.

IS there any indictor on the dash? (like TPMS, key, or airbag?) While I can't recall it happening with an Infiniti, I've had other cars that 'alerted' you when you had some small package in the front passenger seat. Apparently, the system turns off the bag when it detects a modest weight in the seat (in case it's a baby in a car seat I guess).

Nope, no indicator on dash. All clear in there.

However, you do bring up a good point about something on the passenger seat because I usually have my gym bag on there. This morning I had a folder and water bottle on top and it alerted so maybe it was still heavy enough to trigger!?!

I'll be more conscious of it now and will report back should it happen again. Thanks for the thoughts vqsmile!!

Don't know if it is the same as my 06 but had a similar issue. Although the trunk looked closed, it was not. As I drove it would move slightly and beep (no dash board light), when stopped it would settle down enough to turn the sensor off.

Why do you wait 3-5 minutes to let it warm up? Modern engines do not need this. Just get start her up and drive.

If it's a real faint beep my 2013 S does the same thing.

I don't wait for it to warm up like that but as I drive off it sometimes happens.

It's so faint I figure it's some kind of internal process going on...
