DIY Plasti Dip Radiator Cover Problem
So last night I plasti dipped the grill. I got the radiator cover to come move up over those two bars, but now it won't go in right. The cover won't even come close to those bars to go over and the front part by the grille is about an inch under the pop of clips so those won't even go on. Please help it feels like something is holding it back but i have no idea what it could be.
Thanks

I did the exact same thing yesterday, i had to remove two bolts on the coolent reservoir lift it up and back to get enough room to get a couple fingers in there to pull the cover over the pins. It wasn't easy but after a few choice words it went on.
I had to really pull on it to get it back over those two pegs. It was a PITA to do. After I put mine on though, one of my center bolt holes doesn't line up, and one side of my hood where it meets the bumper doesn't seal as completely as the other side. But hey, at least the grille looks fantastic, right?

I used a file to remove some of the length on those two damn cursed pegs. Once the cover was off, I cleaned them up a bit before putting it back on.
I was surprised that I could get my arm in there to re-attach all the wires back onto the cover, but it went on easier than it came off. I used pliers to get those wires detached, and that's probably where some of the time came into play. Snapping them all back in was easy.
