I know the Stillen and the Ark exhausts fit as they make models specific to the X but just wondering if there are any others as those are quite expensive. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I searched here but can't find any threads specific to X they are all straight up Coupe.

 

Anyone have experience between the Invidia Q300 and Gemini on the G37X? just wondering which one fit's better if they both work. Thanks.

 

I am wondering the same thing. I just bought a takeda exhaust for mine and found out it did not fit. Even though it says fits all models. I called aFe and they said they never tested it on an awd model. So now I am dealing with trying to return it, which sucks because it looks well made and the price was right.

 

Hi guys, I had the same problem when I got my G37X a few years back. There wasn't much available, not even ARK, which I believe now is the most popular for the X. I bought the ExoticSpeed RII Titan with ExoticSpeed HFCs. I like it, it sounds pretty good, although most people would tell you to go with the ARK and I would probably agree. If that was out when I was ordering, I would have purchased that as well. It definitely looks meaner. But you might be able to get the ExoticSpeed a little cheaper. Check out the Baddest G37X Coupe thread, there a lot of great guys on that thread with awesome mods for their X Coupes.

 

Wow thanks for that thread suggestion looks like a lot of good info there. As far as I know the Stillen and Ark are only ones that fit without issue on the X except for now the ExoticSpeed RII Titan you mention.

 

I had a Magnaflow which fit with no issues

 

I'm still a noob to g37s but that sounds like a downgrade.

 

Have you looked into Fast Intentions? No fitment issues at all and they are designed and welded with superior quality in the USA. It is a bit expensive though as the stainless steel exhaust with RHFC's was over 2K, but I would not recommend throwing a cheap exhaust on your G. I looked for months into an exhaust and was almost set on either Meisterschaft or ARK, but decided to go with Fast Intentions after a few months of homework. Also, adding the RHFC's will also unleash some power as that is usually where power tends to bottleneck.

 

I got the Tanabe mid pipe and Tanabe axle back on my X coupe. Unfortunately, the Tanabe Y pipe didn't fit the X coupe or it would complete the whole exhaust system on my car. But I'm still happy enough with what I got. Some other member on here had a Megan Racing Y pipe on his X coupe. I may go that route in the future.

 

Will the meisterschaft fit on the g37x coupe? no fitment modifications?

Tanabbe axel back exaust fit my G37 AWD Sport Coupe.....The first muffler shop told me they would not fit without moving the charcoal fuel filter box.....I got a second opinion from a racing gear head fabricator....he told me no problem I'll move the box....in the final analisis the exaust bolted right up without having to move the box...this is my third G37 coupe...That one exaust has been on all three cars...I always put the stock exaust on the cars before I traded them....
