In Love Again

You know that feeling when you just feel like you wanna keep your car forever. I had that today. Just got the g back from the shop. Had the Stillen gen 3, Motordyne manifold, and z1 TP's installed. Scheduled for UPREV tune tomorrow. Attached a couple pics. The dyno was from a month ago when the car was completely stock. Hopefully make some good gains tomorrow, wish me luck!

I was on the fence about the stillen and takeda cai. Can't go wrong with either one.

Agreed on the stillen n Takeda CAI's. 350 that's a great number....congrats. I wonder if the cars would reach the 400 level (or close) with the FI long tube headers and the FI CBE? What do ha think? Anyone.

No I don't think you would even get close to that without boost.

no way on the 375 unless your talking at the crank.

But I guess it depends on the dyno as well.

Na, more like 325-330whp on a traditional dyno w/ LTH. Dynapack takes off the wheels and attaches straight to the hub so there's a ton of rotating mass gone, and the power is much higher. On a normal dyno he'd have lower readings.

Go on a Mustang dyno and you'll only make 295. Dynos are subjective

This is very true. Sean at Church told me I would probably make around 330 on a Dynojet but I find that hard to believe as well..what do you think? Car feels faster since Ive put on the mods thats for sure.

Haha thats funny....theres always something newer and "better" out. The M235i sure looks pretty good right now. Love what they have done with the car. M235i+JB4+downpipe would turn the car into a complete beast. You would have an 11 second brand new car for a reasonable price. Just dont tell BMW that.

I would estimate around there. My car made 323whp/275wtq on a dynojet with Gen3/ARTs/E370/Tune. I believe Chruch's reads high, even for a dynojet, so you should see good 330-335 I'd guess

Oh man there's NO DOUBT the car feels much faster after the install of the same mods on my car. I came from a G35 coupe with no mods but I was always very happy with how fast the car would handle n take corners. 85-92 mph 90degree turns are always sooo much fun...my favorite to be honest. Anyway when I traded for the G37 vert I honestly was a lil disappointed at first. That is until my wife's brother and I installed the LTCAI (installed the M370 a couple weeks later). So I had the car for about 3-4 weeks before I got around to installing the mods. I had plenty time to drive it, my wife had serveral trips under her belt (she's a got a heavy A$$ foot too....MANY tickets over the years), and finally I had a couple family members that I had taken for drives prior to intake n M370 install. So for the results I had my own opinion and the input of several others. I think TwinSnails put it best on a thread the other day "after I installed my CAI it felt like the car pulled like a freight train." This is exactly how I felt and omgoodness it was amazing. The car actually scared my cousins and my brother in-law. Which I love. On that note I have to say I can't wait to get the LTH's in the mail and get the GB for FI's CBE started/finished and both installed on my ride!!! Yummy yummy power!!!! Gotta love it especially when it's wrapped around that sexy A$$ shell that infiniti does so well.
