a month of ownership and I do this...smh....
All along I was thinking some dk head brushed your car and then took off, doesn't make your damage situation any better but at least there's no more mystery to this thread.
Good luck w/ the repair and going through insurance issues, hopefully it will all work out OK without too much pain.

There shouldn't be any suspension damage since it was just with the wall as I turned right and stopped immediately as soon as I heard the noise. I made a sharp right instead of widening myself a bit more to the left like I usually do.
If you want the cheapest way to repair it IMO is to get a used fender, any color and just replace it and paint it. Probably would be ~$200 for a used fender and $~400-500 for a GOOD paint job. If you work with the fender you have, which may not even be possible, it would likely be around $1200-1500 for a good job.
The main problem is that the crease is dented in, so they would have to fix that perfectly, fill the scratches, sand to shape the rest and then paint. I'd start looking for part outs/junkyards if you don't want to go through insurance and possibly raise your rates.
I haven't done it myself or seen directions, but I'm about 95% sure all you have to do for fender replacement is remove bumper/side skirt and just pull the bolts and replace.

It does just happen, to my wife all the time!
She's managed to do the exact same thing to every car we've had except our latest G coupe; I'm holding my breath...
looks like something my wife would do. i almost never let her drive my ipl. she had my g35 a couple times and always had something on it that she didnt know how it happened. Thats why she drives the EX with 360 degree camera view.
^^ This.. WTF, especially after a nice wash n wax..

Yea, I wish it would be been that easy but it's my right rear quarter panel
I used to work at carmax a few years back and any car that had body line damage had to go to prep for paint and then paint. Can't pop it out n get the line to be right again without work. Yes, it went straight down to the metal too.

If I find the dirt-bag who did this and drove away, he will be meeting God a bit earlier than planned and doing so on his knees
