How Often Do You Fill Up?

Damn I don't feel so bad then! Usually when I fill up its at half or a little past, maybe 265 miles give or take. So in theory I could get 530 miles to a tank. Gas prices are a biotch and the thought of filling the tank from empty scares me...its still 50+ from half!

BTW, reading you US guys gripe about the price of gas makes me lol. Premium is $1.40/L here. And our $ is about 90% of yours.

If I was "Driving" I really would not care either way what it cost
BUT
Sitting in traffic for hours on end is a whole other story
Thanks for your advice

Heck, this is my fuel economy car - I bought this in part for the mpg! Beats my truck which is about 13 mpg right now and has a 23.5 gallon tank. So these fill ups are less frequent and cheaper than my last daily driver which is now just the weekend toy.

I had a Galant before and I was filling up around the same amount of times. Filling it up was about 10 bucks cheaper cuz it was cheaper gas. So the fact that technically I am getting the same MPG as my old 4cyl I can accept that extra 10 bucks. The trade up for this car is HUGE! I still dont want to fill up from empty in it though! LoL
And Canadian's...yes we complain about our gas! Its because our $h!+ shot up overnight as it seems. From what I hear you guys and Europe have been high for a while. Its annoying either way though

Wow evil-G-nius you must be in another country or something. I fill up at least 2 times a week. i usually let it get to almost empty. i live in Atlanta and have a 60 mile round trip commute every day. it is always in mostly stop and go. it usually costs me about 40-50 to fill up. and i use premium. Agree the G is not a fueler but who wants to drive a dang Prius! if i was getting a fuel car it would be a e-250 bluetec MB. I read a review that it got essentially the same mileage as a Prius but has more power, luxury and room. something to think about.

^ fun fact: when i bought my first car ~14yrs ago (a well-used '84 VW Jetta), local fuel prices were $0.369/L (~$1.40/US gallon). from there the rise has been steady and staggering. prices quadrupled over the next 10 years up to $1.50/L ($5.65/US gal), where we are hovering around to this day give or take a bit. not exactly overnight like yours i suppose, but still very dramatic. these are all prices for regular fuel, of course.
