Coupe door/dash rattle

Has anyone else experienced an "rattle" that seems to be coming from the driver side door panel or dash? It's quite noticable...unless I turn the stereo up. With the car being so new I can't imagine what it would be, everything is stock, it should be safe for me to assume the panels never been off.

2013 g37s(with bose/nav) 8k miles.

Something the dealership might look at? I don't really want to start popping panels.

I have a coupe, not sure what yours is, but sometimes the passenger seat belt rattles due to a bracket of sorts that makes the seatbelt more comfortabe.

Maybe that

My center console where the shifter is, is my culprit. Push on the side of it to see if this is the area. It is annoying as hell.

I get rattling from within the glove box area when I'm putting alittle bit of gas in the 1-3k rpm range in 1st or 2nd gear. I still don't know what it is, and it doesn't happen 100% of the time. More around 60-80% of the time.

Yes and no. Eventually things MIGHT rattle depends on the usage/mileage. You wouldn't buy a nearly brand new rattle trap car and the salesperson tell you to get use to it, would you? I would expect premium brands to have higher quality control. The 2013 loaners still got a little bit of noise, but the Q50 I test drove was 100% rock solid with no squeak/rattle AT ALL. I hope Infiniti continues to step up their game.

I just meant that historically there are tons of rattling issues with our cars:
- window cowl popping sound
- centre console rattle
- passenger seatbelt rattle
- sunglasses holder rattle
- leather on leather squeak (in my car anyways, between driver seat and centre console / arm rest)

I hope so, seems like the fitment was just a little off for a lot of the components and they should have addressed this in the new build.

I'm getting rattling sounds from the passenger door (in addition to the seat belt rattle) and a rattle in the dash. I was thinking of taking it to the dealer to have them take a look at it. Has anybody made a service appt for their rattling noises? Did it actually help get rid of the rattling? FWIW my cars is less than 2 years old

That bracket does make a little noise in my car, but only when it is in the down position. If I click it back up it's nice and quiet.

No rattles anywhere else...

Rattling adds to the driving experience, makes the drive more authentic.

I have a similar rattle on the driver side. At first I couldn't figure out if it was coming from, under the dash or door.
While driving I finally founded, the rattle stopped when I slightly pulled the door panel right under the tweeter.

Im planning to take the door apart to see if there is a clip missing or something loose.

My sunglass holder next to the Map Lights rattles if I have the windows up and cruise at about 2k. If the windows are down it never rattles. Very peculiar, but has to do with the pressure inside the car I guess? idk.

Maybe in an old British roadster; I expect a bit more from a new Japanese car...
