windshield washer fluid/spray

Is the fluid supposed to spray out like this on the driver side? its all messed up the 3 sprays are like all over the place. if the wiper blades arent moving the spray to the far left gets block. also the middle spray gets all up on my roof. The passenger side is normal, what the hell is going on here lol.

I tried playing around with it but the nozzles aren't adjustable and I also tried to unclog them with a pin and there was no blockage.

Looks like its misaligned and possibly clogged. They do move, but require quite a bit of effort. I think I used an extended paper clip to realign mine when I got the car.

I told my dealer about this and they ended up replacing the nozzles I believe. It was good the summer it got replaced, but after the next winter, the drive and passenger sides were no longer even. No where near as bad as that however. I figure if it gets bad I will use a paper clip or some wire and readjust.

Lol, I just posted about this. I have the same issue, but I give the person in the car to my right a free wash. One nozzle goes all the way over the car. I wish these cars came with a flat spray instead of the three streams. Feel me?

Try using the point of a small safety pin to adjust the spray nozzle

I've done it several times, but can never get it to spray right. I still wish it had the flat spray pattern rather than the stream.

after finding a pin, i stuck it in the spray nozzles and maneuvered the nozzles around for about 35 minutes before i got it to spray the winshield properly. it isnt like the OEM setting on the passenger side but it is close enough lol. what a pain in the *** it was actually

part of the problem is that those nozzles (all washer nozzles really) are designed to spray at driving speeds. So at a stand still they shoot over the car and just looks spaztic. If you were cruising down the highway that would have probably hit perfectly on the windshield

unfortunately no, at highway speeds the stream has always been pretty messed up also.

but to fix it u can stick a pin in there and move the nozzles around very very slightly to adjust the spray angle. just takes a while to get them adjust close to normal.
