Windshield Washers

This is not a sexy topic like some others, but the windshield washers frequently plug up. The dealer unplugs them when asked, but offers no fix. Is this something others are having issues with? My 2003 had great washers, my 2009 had sucky ones. You would think they would get better with more experience.

How often are you using them? I don't know how they'd plug up if you use them every so often.

What are they getting plugged up with? Tree sap? Wax? Insect guts? Bird poop? Dried washer fluid?

Mine haven't ever plugged up with normal use and washings.

Ice/snow blocks mine and prevent it from hitting the windshield. Aside from that, I don't see how it would be blocked. OP?

Mine don't plug up but they spray right the hell over the car. One goes off to the left the other goes to the right. Then there's one a** that sprays just by the little triangle on the windshield. I've tried realigning them with a safety pin but can't get them to line up right. I always end up giving the car to my right a free wash....awkward.

I try to use mine every other day or so, and each time it's a crapshoot on whether all nozzles are working that particular day; today, only the passenger side was working. Wish I could swap out with some ones that shoot out a fan pattern.

In high school I pointed my passenger side washer out so that I could spray people in the parking lot... But it was always definitely awkward when I would forget to change it back and try to clean my windshield.. Cars behind me were probably like wtf!?!?
