Yea what is up with our G's getting rear-ended all of a sudden!?

My 09 G37x was rear-ended last Friday in traffic as well, although my rear appears to have made it out a bit better than yours. My trunk lid and tails are in perfect condition luckily. It of course still needs to be replaced due to dents/cracks, peeling paint, broken license plate mount, etc. Had the quote done today and body shop came up with $1,000 so far - could be more when they remove everything.

I'm glad my G37S will be parked for a few days......scared to drive now.

 

No kidding! Makes me want to garage my animal for a while.

I just got my G back after my insurance company picked up a $6500 tab after being rear ended by an uninsured driver. I feel for you...

 

Glad you made it out ok, and looks like your G didn't fare too bad, considering the size of the vehicle that hit it.

I agree about the IPL stuff. Kind of like all the dudes that love to put M stuff on their 3 series.
