I have a stock 08 G37s 6MT. I live and drive in the GTA and Kitchener/Waterloo. I run 225/50R18 Blizzak LM-32 (and LM-25 before that). The last year on the LM-25 got a little hairy; I definitely was past the useful life of the tires (at least in snow). Aside from that the car is great in the winter. Lots of fun

Having an IPL shouldn't be any different than a sport under the conditions. Its all about tires.
Agreed, all about the tires.

Thanks for all the responses guys. I think I am pretty sold on getting winter tires in an 18 inch configuration (preferably with some type of OEM rim if possible). I am wondering if you guys could help me figure out what models actually fit so that I can start looking now. I am trying to avoid spacers and all that, and getting burned last minute for tires/rims when everyone realized winter is around the corner.

I have heard the g35 18 inch wheel works well. can anyone confirm that? there are a lot of those online kicking around.
