Hood won't pop after Gen 3 install

So i recently installed my Stillen Gen3 CAI and it seems like I've pinched my hood release cable and now the passenger side won't pop open. The driver side does. I've searched around and the only possible way is pulling the cable manually either through the wheel weld or thru the front bumper. I've tried pulling/pushing the hood while someone else pulls the cable and ive tried to pull the cable from the driver side. I'm gonna go thru the wheel weld this week.

any other methods yall can think of?

PS. There's no Infiniti dealers in the Virgin Islands. There's a Nissan dealer but they refuse to work on Infiniti cars because they are not authorized to.

OAN: the still gen3 cai sounds great, IAT are significantly lower than OEM and install was a breeze. did it by myself in under 3 hours.

The only option is as you said, take off the drivers side wheel, open the wheel well, and then grab that wire and un-pinch it.

I have had to do this 2 times. Both times because I took the bumper off. Never making that mistake again!!!

Got it dealt with. Went in thru the passenger wheel weld, pushed the clip so it can released the hood and slacken the two 10mm bolts. Had them too slack and the cable wouldn't release. Over tighten and the cable would be too tight and would stay open. Find that sweet spot and you're good to go!

Attached is a pic of my Gen3 CAI wrapped in DEI gold heat wrapped I bought from Brainchild.

Nice color, you should be able to put the wire below the bolts, that way you can tighten as much as you want. That is how I do it.
