Unhappy Need Help Nervous about smoke in cabin

G37X Coupe 2009 50,000KM

Recently i put on winter tire X-ice 3 "Amazing + AWD"
at the same time i had the car rust proofed .

My tires are 245/45/r18 all around

Now when i pick up speed really fast i have a weird smell in the car smells like a chemical burning.

My temp is below middle so my motor isn't over heating i checked Prestone levels and my res is more then max.

The AWD has never flashed even one ....

So i dont know why its smelling ? i just dont want the car to go on fire or something and the guy did rust proofing in my engine bay could it be?

Please Advise g37 experts , im new to the car so just want to be careful

humm... sometimes the excess chemical from the rust proofing is just simply evaporating off with the heat in the engine.

thats my first guess.

it could have been sprayed in some random locations and its just evaporating for now.

this happened to me one time but it was for a different reason. We had sprayed alot of WD-40 trying to get a bolt out somewhere. and After all was done when i drove home i noticed smoke and chemical smell from that...

if the AWD system was having some sort of malfunction, i would guess you would get some error messages.

that was my first guess since you said he sprayed anti rust chemicals and it smells like chemicals...

now dont take my word as 100% assurance of what is happening... But there is a darn good chance that is the culprit.

always be worried. I have never heard of the AWD system having such problems, and smoke going into the cabin etc... Unless some bad was done and tires were possibly running against the car in some way etc. But then you would smell rubber and thats the smell everyone can tell easily.

Wow ya no i thought about it my tires are brand new X-Ice 3 and it seems and i highly doubt it that the smoke can come from there i know i still have a warranty on my car but would you know if there is a infiniti # to call to find out more info ?

I think though its the rust proofing i did i mean its not smoke its just smelly lol but only happens when the car is really warm from reving hard but my engine temp has never went hot even an inch it always idles below mid

thanks for you help !!!
