Smile Just Bought a 2012 G37x Coupe...

22k miles for $30000 @ Infiniti of Columbus....

What do I do first? Setup first? Checkout first?
Have my mechanic look at first??

I see a long list of TSBs on the web, should I be proactive and point a few out to be looked at when I am in for an oil change?

What were some of your most surprising features ?

Hopefully the dealer did all the TSBs when they had the vehicle in their possession. To clarify give the dealership a call in the morning and see if they can let you know over the phone. If not, simply drive down with your vehicle to the dealership with documentation of ownership in hand and ask for a check and then book an appt to have some done if they aren't already.

It is a bit late to be looking at things after purchasing it, in regards to your question about having your mechanic look at it. That should have been done before purchase so that if anything needs to be done you could haggle on the price even more.

As for the setup do you mean mods? If so, it is all to each their own whether they want performance or looks etc. If its looks check out the coupe section for pics of coupes and see if you see anything you like/want to replicate. Check various performance forums on here for ideas for performance modifications.

Best advice I can give you is to plan what you want to your car, purchase mods geared towards that. Example: I want a twin turbo setup. Save for that, don't waste your money on intakes first and twin turbo after. Thats just throwing money away.

Good luck.
Oh, and as for nifty features... no idea. I'm rockin a '08.

Awesome advise. I took the list of TSBs in and they said the service dept said there was nothing "outstanding".
I am not looking to mod immediately but I am curious as to what surprises and features others have discovered
